2018 has been an exciting year. Bots, AI, cloud, container, and more groundbreaking technologies made our engineering lives much busier. Shift left was a big topic and many companies realized that performance engineering and application security has to be part of their value stream.
There was no silver bullet which simplified all these increasing complex landscapes. Who knows, maybe we will re-invent the wheel in 2019 and some genius comes up with the long-expected holy grail of performance engineering which solves all remaining gaps.
